Welcome Kits
Welcome Kit Supply List
Refugee families arrive in Minnesota with very few belongings and limited financial resources. Welcome Kits help to ease the strain of resettlement by providing basic household items to newly arrived families. This means that families don’t have to expend their limited time and resources to attain these necessities. Perhaps most importantly of all, the gift of a welcome kit offers a message of welcome and hospitality to our newest neighbors.
Current Needs at Refugee Services:
Silverware and Kitchen utensils (spatulas, cooking spoons, knives, and can openers only, please)
Gently used dishes, bowls and glasses.
House-Keeping Kits: small/medium wastebasket filled with dish soap, laundry detergent, all purpose cleaner (like 409), pack of sponges, box of trash bags, and a small dustpan/broom set
New Shampoo Bottles and Toilet paper
