October 9 – 11, 2008, Lake Geneva Christian Center, Alexandria, MN
Empower yourself and take charge of your health with knowledge about toxic chemicals in the environment. Learn what you can do to remove these chemicals from your home, your church, and your community at this national ecumenical conference that brings together people of faith and eco-justice advocates.
Sponsored by the National Council of Churches Eco-Justice Division, this conference is designed for denominational staff, clergy, seminarians, lay leaders, eco-justice coordinators and all Christians.
Workshops, inspiring plenaries, hands-on experiences, and worship will provide education and knowledge to Christians involved in eco-justice ministries. Attendees will leave armed with the knowledge they need to speak about toxics with their families, churches, communities and decision-makers.
