For the past several Legislative session the Minnesota Council of Churches has organized a prayer service on the opening day of the session working with the office of State Senator Gary Kubly. Gathering at Christ Lutheran Church on Capitol Hill the morning of January 3, 2007, representatives of several faith communities offered teachings on wisdom from their tradition. The prayer service was presided by Rev. Peg Chemberlin, Executive Director of the Minnesota Council of Churches.
