This new resource is proud to offer:
- Stories of determination, tragedy, joy, wisdom and hope
- Personal accounts of the refugee experience
- Global issues from a firsthand perspective
- Information about refugee communities in Minnesota
- An opportunity to learn about different parts of the world
Each member of the Refugee Speakers Bureau goes through a Public Speaking Communication course that is offered through the Minnesota Council of Churches. Upon completion of the class, interested attendees join the bureau and begin educating audiences throughout Minnesota!
