Faith leaders from across America have kicked off "40 Days for Health Reform"
A massive effort to ensure that Congress passes reform legislation that extends quality, affordable health care to every American family.
Faith leaders from many traditions and from every corner of the country are working to bring real people back into the health care debate - people who want solutions to the rising cost of health care for them and their families. We do not want such an important debate to be highjacked by people of any ideology or special interest group.
That's why you and your family, friends, and fellow congregation members are so important. Please join the conference call, August 19. A conference call with faith leaders and the President; be a part of this historic faith movement for health reform.
President Obama has responded to a request from faith leaders to participate in a nationwide conference call with many national religious groups.
The goal of the call is to energize and connect the millions of people of faith across the country who are concerned about health care and who want to be part of the solution.
Tens of thousands of people are needed on this call with the President, so please let your friends and neighbors know so they can be part of this historic event.
