Senate and House Will Vote Soon on Toxic BPA Bill
Thanks to your calls and emails, the Minnesota House and Senate will be voting soon on a bill phasing out toxic Bisphenol A (BPA) from children’s products! Industry lobbyists representing chemical manufacturers have lobbied and testified against this bill in an effort to kill it. We can’t let them succeed!
Children’s products like polycarbonate baby bottles and sippy cups contain BPA, which is also showing up in Minnesota’s groundwater. Children are particularly vulnerable to damage from these chemical exposures because they are still developing. Health effects include lowered sperm count, diabetes and early onset puberty. Safer alternatives currently exist; this toxin shouldn’t be in products for kids.
Contact your lawmaker today and ask him/her to support the BPA Free Baby Product Bill!

Please support the Healthy Legacy bill phasing out toxic BPA from baby bottles and sippy cups. Bisphenol A, or BPA, is a hormone disrupting chemical found in polycarbonate baby bottles and sippy cups. Many scientific studies have linked this chemical to early onset puberty, childhood obesity, and diabetes.
Since there are safer alternatives, Minnesota should phase out this chemical in children’s products. Please vote YES for the BPA Free Baby Products Bill. Thanks for your consideration.
