Listening sessions in ten rural communities led the Program Commission to re-design and re-name the Minnesota Council of Churches’ rural ministries.
Rural Churches – Rural Communities will strengthen the capacity of local churches to serve the rural communities where they are planted.
By strengthening both their understanding and experience of being related to other parts of the Body of Christ, and by receiving training and support to build their capacity for service, local churches will better serve the needs of their communities.
