One of the elders could really use some socialization, a recovering stroke victim that for the most part is doing well.

Also, I just noticed that it is written that we provide services in Nepali. While I speak some Nepali, I am not fluent enough to provide therapy in Nepali. We also currently do not have a Hmong speaking therapist. We have two fluent Spanish speakers that provide both outpatient and in-home therapeutic services. Our agency will provide interpreters should someone choose to seek us for services.

Just wanted to comment that people (both referral sources and prospective clients) are more than welcome to contact me ( 651-280-2145 – I supervise our youth and adult therapy team), Tony Yang (651-280-2111 – director of Southeast Asian Services) or Paul Sinclair (651-280-2112 – adult case management and social healing center supervisor) to discuss services. This may sometimes help it feel less bureaucratic and increase accessibility. We also could provide some basic psychoeducation and education about our services so that if they are interested now or at a later time, it feels less intimidating.
