Description of Services: North Psychology has a pleasant, professional office in Brooklyn Center, which they been for over 20 years. They have day, evening, and weekend appointments available with clinicians who are experienced and compassionate. Their clinicians are familiar with a variety of therapy techniques and work with the client in the way they want to be helped. Has free parking and is located on major bus lines.
Martha Bordwell, Ph.D., LP is a psychologist on staff whose areas of interest are in depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, needs of immigrant and refugee populations. She works with adults, couples, and families. Speaks Spanish and French and welcomes clients from other cultures.
Tom Breitenbucher, Ph.D., LP, M.F.A. is a psychologist on staff who works with adults, couples and families. Areas of interest include depression, anxiety, and relationship problems.
Dorothy Edelson, Psy.D., LP is a psychologist on staff whose areas of interest are trauma recovery, child sexual abuse, depression, anxiety, and helping individuals with disabilities and their families. She provides assessment, rehabilitation, and consultation services as well as therapy with people of all ages.
Diane Felton, Ph.D., LP is a psychologist who works with children and families. Her areas of interest are anxiety, depression, oppositional/defiant behavior, ADHD, parenting skills, and family stress.
Gay Hallberg, Ph.D., LP works with children and adults and is licensed in school psychology as well as credentialed in group therapy.
Kirsten Jankovich, M.A., LMFT is a therapist who works with adolescents, adults, couples and families. Her areas of interest include adolescent formation process, spirituality, anxiety, relationship issues, working with single mothers, children displaced from their biological parents, and juveniles in the legal system.
Heidi Reuteler-Barnes, Psy.D., LP is a psychologist on staff who works with adults, adolescents, children, and families. Her areas of interest include working with children and adolescents and their families.
Lisa Scholder, Psy.D., LP is interested in the areas of holistic wellness, relationship issues, depression, trauma/abuse survivors, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She works with adults and couples.
Rochelle Brandl, Ph.D., LP works with adults, children and families. Her areas of interest include evaluation and treatment of children, treatment of adults with anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Currently limited to Monday and Thursday afternoons only.
Cost: Fees vary with the type of insurance provided. Staff can assist you in filing insurance claims and in providing necessary information for insurance purposes. All usual and typical insurance copayments and deductibles apply.
