Any refugee, adult or child, who is experiencing a mental health crisis can be brought here for assessment and possible hospitalization or referral.

The hospital attempts to provide culturally specific  assessment, goal setting and aftercare planning, strives to obtain cultural consultation and has access to interpreters. You should call ahead when bringing a refugee to this resource and request interpreter services.

Health insurance will pay for these services. There may be a partial payment requested of the refugee, but a payment plan can be negotiated. Most hospitals will accept patients regardless of ability to pay.
