Day 3: Cross-Cultural, Trauma Informed Mental Health Assessment, Diagnosis, and Treatment for Refugee Clients

Using a case study format, participants learn about considerations and “bypass” strategies for working with refugees referred for clinical services, including PTSD, anxiety disorders, major depressive disorder, and psychotic disorders. Clinicians from refugee communities and experienced in refugee mental health  guide these hands-on case discussions. Specific modalities for treatment will be discussed in the afternoon.

Registration fees: $150 through September 12, $175 after September 12. We cannot hold your spot until we receive payment. Please click here to be redirected to the MCC Refugee Services webpage for more information and to register.
