Dr Schuler is a psychologist with special expertise in providing testing for refugee adults ( and occasionally refugees as young as 16 or 17) to document developmental disabilities

Accepts all PMAP insurance and MA.

Please note, that many insurance companies do not pay for learning disability/educational evaluations.  However, if there is a co-occurring mental health issue that needs to be ruled out or confirmed, that is a different issue.    In other cases, especially regarding issues of INS waiver, insurance companies have been quite explicit about not paying for that part of it.  Usually, the mental health evaluation is paid for by the insurance company and then there is a separate fee, which the insurance company does not pay for, which includes rendering an opinion about the waiver and completing the form.
