These resources provide assistance with arranging housing for refugees. For newly arrived families, the Case Manager will secure housing before the family arrives. MCC Refugee Services also provides the following classes for refugees in our program:

NAREW: This is a new arrivals workshop where refugees learn how to ride the bus, what to do in emergency situations, and how to access a variety of resources. All refugee families get enrolled in this class shortly after arriving.

Home Orientation: This class teaches refugees how to care for their homes with natural cleaning supplies.

Renter’s Education: This class teaches refugees how to maintain good relationships with their landlord, the basic terms of a lease, and how to rent an apartment in the future.
