Welcoming Refugees

It takes a community to resettle each new refugee that arrives in Minnesota. Refugees have already endured the trauma of war, the difficulty of flight, and the uncertainty of waiting in a refugee camp. We want to make sure that their experience of resettling in MN is full of welcome and hope. MCC Refugee Services has expertise in providing high quality services and navigating complex systems, but we depend on volunteers, churches, and community members to really make MN feel like home to our newest neighbors. You can help! Check out the links to the right and above to learn how.

Calling All Donations!

MCC Refugee Services would like to thank everyone who have donated the many wonderful and useful items this year and in years past. Recently, we’ve been resettling refugee arrivals at a very high rate, and as such, we’ve run out of a few items.

If your feeling particularly generous, we are in urgent need of:
Blankets, Twin-Size Bedding, Toothbrushes, Towels, Dinner plates, Cereal-size Bowls, Mixing Bowls, Silverware and Booster Seats.

Also, if spring cleaning is in effect in your house, please see our complete list of accepted items through this link –click here to see the full list of critically needed items.

All non-furniture items can be delivered to the MN Church Center during business hours (address below).
