Start the Mug Project today!
Throughout the years MCC Refugee Services has accumulated more donated mugs than we can use. You can help us convert these extra mugs into household items our families really need and that are not frequently donated.
Four Easy Steps:
1. Stop in at MCC Refugee Services to get mugs, refugee stories, & promotional materials in a pre-assembled “mug project kit”
2. Bring those materials to your church coffee hour, campus coffee shop, special event, or other gathering
3. Share coffee, discuss the refugee stories, and collect donations that will be used to purchase urgently needed household items. The suggested donation amount is $3 per mug, and your friends get to pick out and keep their favorite cup!
4. Return the donations to Refugee Services. We’ll take care of purchasing and distributing those household items most in need to new refugee families.
