The executive orders blocking refugee admissions and the subsequent legal challenges to those orders have continued to make news headlines and create uncertainty about refugee resettlement in the US. In 2018, we welcomed a total of 209 refugees from 15 countries. We welcomed 14 new arrivals in January and are hoping to welcome 14 individuals this February. Our arrivals have been largely from Burma, Ethiopia, and DR Congo.
